Giving in Our Churches

If you would like to give of your time or talents to the work of the Sevens Saint Team Ministry, please contact one of the leaders in your church. If you would like to give a financial gift to the work of the Sevens Saint Team Ministry you can do it in various ways.

In recent years, the landscape of financial transactions has shifted dramatically, with card payments surpassing cash as the most popular method of payment in 2017. This shift has had a profound impact on various sectors, including religious organizations and churches, where traditional cash donations have long been a staple. As society moves increasingly towards a cashless future, churches must adapt to ensure they can continue to receive and manage donations effectively. This is where digital giving becomes crucial.

What is Digital Giving?

Digital giving refers to the process of making donations to a church using digital means, typically through a bank card or smart device like a mobile phone. This can be done in several ways:

  1. Contactless Donation Units: These are physical devices located within the church premises where donors can simply tap their card or phone to make a contribution.
  2. Online Giving Pages: Donors can visit a designated web page on their smartphone, tablet, or computer to make a donation by scanning a QR code provided by the church.

Safe and secure

Digital giving mechanisms are a safe and secure way to churches to receive donations. Funds can often be settled into the church’s bank account the next day and no personal data is stored on contactless donation devices, meaning both the person giving and you as the church receiving the gift can have a high level of trust in the donation process.

The work of our church is reliant on people’s generosity, and we are so grateful for all the gifts we receive.

As we adapt to the changing times, we are excited to announce that soon you will see contactless card readers in both St Catherine’s and St George’s. These new devices will allow you to give digitally, making it easier and more convenient to support the church.

Using QR Codes for Digital Giving across the Seven Saints Churches

In the context of digital giving at a church, there will also be QR codes available to scan, these offer a simple and effective way to facilitate donations.

Your generosity makes a real difference, and we thank you for being a vital part of our church’s work and mission.
